Orly Goth and Kleancolor Blind Date

This was fun to wear :) Orly Goth is an old fave of mine - a black creme with silver glitter. This is two coats and it dries pretty quickly. I had it on and thought Kleancolor Blind Date might work with it, and I like it. The stars stayed on very well and the clear base it came in dried in average time. It looks uneven in the photos but wasn't noticeable irl. The stars weren't too hard to get out and easy enough to move into place :) some of the stars have imperfections like the silver star on my pinky but it is good for a cheap nail polish, most of them are fine :)

OPI La Paz-itively Hot and Color Club Hot Couture

OPI La Paz-itively Hot is a perfect Barbie pink and a new favourite. Great OPI forumla with 2 coats, This is super pretty and good for super pale people like me. I will wear this again for sure! It has a very slight blue tinted shimmer to it. This reminds me a lot of OPI Pompeii Purple (below) except La Paz-itively Hot is lighter and less magenta in colour and less of a blue flash.

I thought since I was going for a very girlie look I would add Color Club Hot Couture. This is only one coat, it is pretty dense and the colours the glitter reflects are beautiful :) yummy

Kleancolor Holo Chrome

This is the best $1.75 I have spent in awhile :) I love this. Kleancolor Holo Chrome is amazing, and was definately worth finding. This is 2 coats, and even one coat looked nice - jellyish, but even and a nice colour. The holographic glitter is very vibrant, the colours it reflects makes it stand out, even in quite dim light. I also like how it looks in the shade! My mum thought it looks like water with heaps of tiny air bubbles. This nail polish dries well which I wasn't expecting, lurve it :)

Orly SeaGurl from the Birds of a Feather Collection

The formula in the Birds of a Feather Collection is awesome. This is 2 thin coats, but 1 thick coat would be plenty. This didn't chip easily and I like the finish. This is less foil-like than Sweet Peacock and looks a lot like those woodless graphite pencils. It also seems very slightly brown toned. I like it more than I thought I would :) Also excuse the condition of my nails, I had acrylics put on while I was being a client/practise model for someone at our beauty school and took them off on the same day. They aren't too bad but they are peeling from having them removed and buffed down to nothing :)

China Glaze Skyscraper

Skyscraper is a brilliant glitter from the Metro 2011 collection :) all the China Glaze glitters I have tried I have loved. It looks multidimensional because of the different shades of colour, the base is navy and jellyish, and then there is loads of blue and silver glitter. I love the Metro collection, they are all modern and fashionable colours. I want all of them >.<
This was 2 coats no top coat. It did start chipping after a day with OPI Skip Chip and base coat but without top coat, so do use top coat if you want it to last. I'm terrible with glitter, I love it but once it starts chipping I pick it off. >.> *ahem* OPI Burlesque glitters...

Color Club Worth the Risque and Fashion Addict Holos

These pics were taken on a very cloudy day and they still shone :)
Worth the Risque is a very holographic silver, it has a slight blue tone to it making it look very clean. From the Color Club 2009 Femme Fatale collection. It didn't look very holo in the bottle, but once it had dried on my nails it was very nice :)
Fashion Addict is from the Catwalk Queen collection and looks like a light dusty pink, and looks purple in some lights too. The formula for both was 2 coats and went on nicely. They dry a bit more holographic than when wet. I was impressed with them and for a pale person like moi they are nice colours :) I can only imagine how holo they will look in summer here in NZ!

You need Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black!

See how the big holo pieces reflect red, yellow and green even in the shade? Awesome :) This looks great no matter what light you are in, and thats why I love this so much. This is just one coat of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Black as well, and it wasn't hard to get the holo pieces out either. It has a brown/black tinted smokey base colour in it so you can layer it over other colours and it will darken them a bit. This is over black, I put this over the Glitter Gal Black holo hoping the holo would show through underneath but you can't see it because of the tinted base. Others have said the smell of Kleancolors puts them off, but it doesn't bother me I guess I'm used to it. It goes away when it is dry anyway :)
I got this and others from BeautyJoint.com and I found they have fast shipping and everything was well wrapped, and these cost $1.75 each. I have had 2 packages from BeautyJoint and nothing was ever damaged or missing, so I will buy from them again :)
