Color Club Sugar Plum Fairy

Color Club Sugar Plum Fairy from the 2011 Beyond the Mistletoe Collection. I loooove this <3 but really it looks best in my opinion layered, on it's own it is gritty and hard to work up to opacity evenly. This is 3 coats, it goes on thickly. I love the holographic glitter in this one, out of the whole collection this one seemed to have the most holo glitter. It is gorgeous layered over a creme with a thick top coat. Yummy :)

Color Club Beyond The Mistletoe

This is Color Club Beyond the Mistletoe from the Beyond the Mistletoe Holiday 2011 Collection. I purchased all of the 6 glitters from this collection, and this one was the least coverage, taking 3 coats to get to this stage and it is still patchy in areas. It is a little hard to apply evenly as the glitter is thick, and dries very gritty as you can see. But still, it is a beautiful glitter that makes me a little happier just by looking at it. There is mainly light blue glitter with a hint of green to it, and a good amount of vibrant holographic glitter all in a clear base. The dry time is great. Beyond the Mistletoe looks nice layered over a creme, and the lasting time is also much better. Worn alone the glitter tends to chip easily as it is thick on the nails. Overall, while it isn't my favourite glitter, it is a beauty anyway :)

OPI La Paz-itively Hot and Color Club Hot Couture

OPI La Paz-itively Hot is a perfect Barbie pink and a new favourite. Great OPI forumla with 2 coats, This is super pretty and good for super pale people like me. I will wear this again for sure! It has a very slight blue tinted shimmer to it. This reminds me a lot of OPI Pompeii Purple (below) except La Paz-itively Hot is lighter and less magenta in colour and less of a blue flash.

I thought since I was going for a very girlie look I would add Color Club Hot Couture. This is only one coat, it is pretty dense and the colours the glitter reflects are beautiful :) yummy

Color Club Worth the Risque and Fashion Addict Holos

These pics were taken on a very cloudy day and they still shone :)
Worth the Risque is a very holographic silver, it has a slight blue tone to it making it look very clean. From the Color Club 2009 Femme Fatale collection. It didn't look very holo in the bottle, but once it had dried on my nails it was very nice :)
Fashion Addict is from the Catwalk Queen collection and looks like a light dusty pink, and looks purple in some lights too. The formula for both was 2 coats and went on nicely. They dry a bit more holographic than when wet. I was impressed with them and for a pale person like moi they are nice colours :) I can only imagine how holo they will look in summer here in NZ!

Color Club Limelight and L.A. Girl Uninhibited

L.A. Girl Glitter Addict Uninhibited is a black glitter! Love it. It has two different sizes of glitter, big and little hexagons. This is one coat of glitter over 4 coats of Color Club Limelight, a standard neon green. I like this neon and it does dry fast so it is worth it. I was doing air brush makeup all day with this on, which left tonnes of colours and black on my hands and nails, and it stood up to the scrubbing. There is still a little black on one nail that won't scrub off, but I'm really impressed it lasted! So after all that is when these photos were taken. I wore this for 3 days and on the third it chipped once in the shower. Not bad for no top coat and a lot of layers :) I got a huge amount of compliments on this mani, literally over 30. A lot of people thought at first it was black shatter, which would look awesome with neon green too :)

Glitter Gal Black Holographic vs Color Club Revvvolution

Glitter Gal Black Holographic

This is a very holo holo >.< and a good black, not dark grey. The formula is great, needs 2 thin coats, not far from opaque in one coat, just needs to be evened out. The only down side is the bottles are 9mls, but for me I don't remember ever using up a full bottle of anything. I will definately wear this again :) I love it, it's cosmic looking. You can buy this and others from http://www.glittergal.com.au/

Color Club Revvvolution

Not as holographic and a lot lighter, and the formula needed 2 - 3 coats. Revvvolution still is an awesome polish but I much prefer the Glitter Gal. In the shade Revvvolution is a charcoal grey colour, and Glitter Gal Black is black, so for me I would rather have black :)
