OPI The "It" Color with Blue Shatter

I have always loved OPIs Black Shatter nail polish and pairing it with yellow so I thought I'd try yellow with the Blue Shatter they have. I love the way the Blue crackles, it is more similar to the Black shatter than the Silver one. Big and bold chunks. OPI The "it" color (above on its own) is a bright yellow a little similar to OPI Need Sunglasses? But a bit more mustard and a little darker. It takes 3 or 4 coats for me on both yellows to get it completely opaque. I'd like to find a yellow that is a 2 coater :)
Here is OPI Need Sunglasses? for comparison

much brighter :)

O.P.I. Designer Series Extravagance

You all have probably seen this several times but it is soooo pretty and you need it :)
This is OPI Extravagance from the Designer Series. I haven't come across an OPI DS that isn't worth the extra money so far, they are all so pretty, and have great formula and staying power. This one was the same with 2 thin fast drying coats it was done. Great product, I love it :)
Yummy holo!

ORLY Fowl Play from Birds of a Feather Collection

The last thing I expected from Orly was a dark red based purple jelly with opal flakes and blue glitter - how awesome!
This is 3 coats though I should have left it at 2, it looked more jellyish and less dark. The formula was a bit thick so it was a little hard to apply around the edges and above the cuticles. I'd be surprised if anyone had a dupe thats for sure, though it would be easy enough to franken if you have an Nfu-Oh like number 49, a dark purple jelly, and a little blue glitter. The blue really makes it unique, it's so pretty :)
It chipped easily for me though so I recommend using a good top coat :) I also want to try Nite Owl from this collection, it looks beautiful!

OPI Cajun Shrimp and L.A. Girl Glitter Addict Celebrate

OPI Cajun Shrimp is really bright, great formula with only 1 - 2 coats needed, and is glossy without top coat :) a great go - to red, and a bit more casual than the darker reds. I have never seen a shrimp this colour though!

I added one coat of L.A. Girl Glitter Addict Celebrate to see what this glitter was like and it is really cute :) I want to try layering it on its own, it seems dense enough. I like the big hexagons ^^

Poison Ivy Nails

Holo and glitter >.< This is Milani 3D Holographic Hi-Tech and NYX Girls Enchanted Forest. I think it was a bit intense for my camera! This is brighter in person and super sparkley. I love it :) it's magical. Enchanted Forest is a glitter in a tinted green base so it makes Hi-Tech a little greener but doesn't take away the holo effect. And here is Hi-Tech on its own..

And those were taken on a rainy day o.O can't wait til Summer to see them shine even more!

Nicole by OPI Kardashian Kolors

I want all of these! I have been looking forward to the pics of these colours since I first found out that the Kardashians were working with OPI. I love Keeping up with the Kardashians, having 3 sisters myself I can relate to their sisterhood. They always have beautiful nails as well, and sport some really cool colours.
I never thought there would be 5 glitters in this collection! :) Yummy. They have added the chic colours I expected too :)
For pics from the first lauch party including Khloe and Kourtney wearing their colours and a few bottles go to http://khloekardashian.celebuzz.com/so-excited-to-launch-kardashian-kolors-07-2011
Khloe says "Kardashian Kolors will launch November 25, 2011. Can’t wait for you all to see!!! xoxoxo"

Nfu-Oh 49 over black

I have stared at my nails ever since I put this on :) so amazing! I am now craving more Nfu-Ohs. This is my first one and I had high hopes for it and it does live up to the hype. It is stunning in every light, or lack of light. Flakies might even beat my fave holos... maybe :) I'll have to get more! I have to find Nfu-Oh 51! One coat of this was definately enough as there is tonnes of flakes but I was fiddling with it so I put on 3 coats over black. It dried quickly and didn't chip for days with no top coat. Perfect :)

China Glaze Holographic GR8

This is China Glaze GR8 from the OMG 2BHOT collection, good formula and everything with 2 coats but it's not a super strong holo in real life so I wouldn't wear it again. The colour would suit someone less pink toned and pale :) I hope the rest of the collection is better for me, what are your favourite holographic polishes? I haven't found anything to beat the old OPI DS holos yet :)

China Glaze Spin Me Round

Wicked strong holo :) Great formula, this is two fast drying coats. Looks cool in the shade too, reminds me of a Starbucks frappuccino!
Pretty nude holographic :)

OPI Blue my Mind + Silver Shatter

OPI Blue my Mind didn't appeal to me much in the bottle, but looks a lot better on the nail. The colour is brighter and the shimmer glows. A pleasant surprise :) good formula and lasting power too, this is 2 coats and no top coat

I added a coat of OPI Silver Shatter and it looks really cool :) I got a few compliments wearing this. In the sun it was quite sparkley too as in second picture. Pretty ^^
I wore this to work and weirdly it didnt chip at all and normally my nail polish is a mess after working. When I had a shower it peeled off a bit though altogether. Wouldn't have if I had worn a top coat ;)
When I first tried the Silver Shatter I didn't like it a lot, I prefer the black and blue shatters because they crackle differently but Blue my Mind was bright enough to stand out well against the silver so I like this combo. I also find that Silver Shatter works best with a polish underneath that is glossy and flat, the strong shimmers and glitters tend to make the shatter drag a bit due to the texture and it doesn't crackle as nicely.
I would wear this again, looks kind of rocker chic :)

First Post :) OPI DS Reserve

I love the OPI Designer Series nail polishes - they are worth the extra money to me because I use the DS series polishes more than my other OPIs because they are much more pretty to look at. This one (Reserve) is a scattered holographic. The colour reminds me a lot of Teenage Dream and goes well underneath it :) The formula is quite opaque and easy to use, and doesn't chip too easily. I wore this on the day I moved into a flat and at the end of the day it wasn't chipped or worn at all (with no top coat either). This is one of my favourites and I will definately wear it again :)
